Recently all Duinomite products got the status "Out of stock". What is the planning for these products? What happens to the PIC32T795 which is using the same architecture? As long as Olimex does not have real replacements based on the PIC32MZ controller, I like to use them in the future.

Anyone at Olimex to reply on this?

Hey,

Do not worry, out of stock usually means that we can't assemble the boards temporarily. In this case a shipment with some of the components to manufacture the Duinomite boards got delayed. When the components arrived and the boards could be manufactured we flagged them back in stock.

Usually boards that wouldn't be manufactured get marked as OBSOLETE. Like PIC-MCP-USB: https://www.olimex.com/Products/PIC/Programmers/PIC-MCP-USB/

Duinomites now are in stock
OUT OF STOCK means product is temporary out of stock, how long it stays in this state depend on many factors - sometimes we wait component to arrive, sometime just production line is too busy.
as Lub noted if one product is stopped to manufacture it becomes with status OBSOLETE not OUT OF STOCK

OBSOLETE usually means this product has component which is not possible to source anymore, or we have new product which replace it, or just the demand for it is so low that we do not see reason to run new production batch. Neverthless if you need product with status OBSOLETE you can write us and we can quote production time and minimum quantity.
