Title: How to use eMMC on A20-OLinuXino-LIME2-eMMC
Post by: DeclanKris on February 20, 2024, 05:49:39 AM
I have a A20-OLinuXino-LIME2-eMMC board and I want to use the eMMC memory instead of the SD card. I have downloaded the latest Debian image from the Olimex wiki and flashed it to the eMMC using the dd command. However, when I boot the board without the SD card, nothing happens. The green LED is on, but the blue LED is off. I don't see anything on the serial console or the HDMI monitor. What am I doing wrong?

I'm using Debian 10 Buster with kernel 5.10.16-sunxi on the eMMC. I have tried to use the resize_sd.sh and emmc.sh scripts from https://www.manualslib.com/manual/2706308/Olimex-A20-Olinuxino-Lime2-Emmc.html suika game (https://suikagameonline.io) , but they didn't work either. I have attached the output of the fdisk -l command and the dmesg log from the SD card boot.

This is not how you transfer Linux to the eMMC.

If you use Olimage, please check this manual:
