Title: ESP32-POE-16MB
Post by: KeviNH on February 02, 2024, 05:08:22 PM
I saw the announcement (https://olimex.wordpress.com/2024/01/29/esp32-poe-and-esp32-poe-iso-open-source-hardware-boards-now-have-version-with-16mb-flash/) for the new 16MB variants.

Any physical difference with the -16MB board? (we 3d print our enclosures)

Would love to know when I can expect these to show up at US distributors (Mouser, Digikey, etc).

Hardware-wise only the ESP32 module that used is different. The 16MB boards uses ESP32-WROOM-32E-N16 (ESP32-WROOM-32UE-N16 for antenna variants) while the regular boards use ESP32-WROOM-32E-N4 (ESP32-WROOM-32UE-N4 for antenna).

If you query the distributors they might give you better estimate or consider stocking these faster.

Digikey (https://www.digikey.com/en/products/detail/olimex-ltd/ESP32-POE-16MB/22258045) finally added this as a back-order eligible item.
