As mentioned in another thread, the LCD touchscreen works out of the box with the new image (Debian r3).
No need to follow these instructions (https://www.olimex.com/forum/index.php?topic=1743.0) anymore.
There's only one thing that needs manual fixing in r3:
in /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/20-ts.conf,
edit the "Width" and "Height" values to what your screen actually has (480 and 272 respectively for the 4.3 inch) and save.
