so ive got a project going on and im using the a20 lime2 4gb nand for my board(and hopefully my future go to board) but i need a lot more than 10 cm for the touch screen. also ill need some longer cables for the gpios as well. any idea why they picked such an insanely small pitch? its almost impossible to find parts that will work with this thing. hell my jumper cables barely fit(like, i have to CRAM them in) into the pin holes

With long cables you will have to reduce the speed or get a bad picture.

They sell a pitch conversion board and give away the design files.

so ive seen. i think i could live with slowing it down a little, i need it to reach approx 18 inches, with corners and bends included. do you think that would bog it down too much? all in all it needs to turn 2 motors based on touch screen input, and react to a proximity sensor or a button. so speed isnt necessarily the biggest concern, provided its not like connecting to the net through AOL :P ps thanks for responding ive noticed we dont have the best community so im trying to spend a little more time here to contribute where i can

ok so i checked out digikey, and found the stuff. you need this cable: http://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/3m/3754-40-300/MB40G-5-ND/703192 and these connectors: http://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/cnc-tech/3230-40-0101-00/1175-1655-ND/3883430 . i personally tested the 5 ft cable which is more than i need and it was at least able to turn on an led and trigger a darlington so that seems good enough. i wont need much more than 5 feet so this is where i stop the journey. hope this helps someone
