Title: Is it possible to use the LCD IOs as general GPIOs?
Post by: ntd on December 03, 2013, 07:49:12 PM
Hi all,

I'd like to know if it is possible to use the GPIOs usually reserved by the LCD as real GPIOs.

I just compiled a new script.bin disabling the LCD0 (hints borrowed from the lcd1_para (http://linux-sunxi.org/Fex_Guide#.5Blcd1_para.5D) section) but this makes the system unable to boot (or, better said, I'm unable to access it via SSH). Restoring the old script.bin turns the system to its original usable state.

The more general question is: which is the exact list of GPIOs I can map in a custom script.fex? After a quick look it seems I have availables only 16 GPIOs from the GPIO-2 connector on a oLinuxino WIFI board.
