A13-WIFI + DEBIAN+UART

On my board(REV-C) UART1 is placed next to the UEXT and UART0 is placed next to the GPIO-1. Then, does it mean UEXT does not contain UART11?

As far as i understand ttyS0 represents UART1. microSD card reader uses UART1. In the forum, it has been stated that UART1 can be used by two devices simultaniously

My purpose is to connect GM862-GPS to A13-wifi, but there arise couple of problem.

  • ttyS0(UART1)'s Baud base is 1500000 which is not supported by Telit GM862-GPS
  • If i change ttyS0 baud base, will it damages the A13-wifi since microSD card uses same console(ttyS0)? If it will be so, what i can do to avoid that problem?

I think you're a bit muddled.

From the schematic, it's uart0 that is on the SD card.

Yes, ttyS0 is uart1, default 115200, and it's on UEXT.  Change its baud rate as you like.  Remember to turn off the login prompt or you'll really confuse your UEXT board!  Also, suppress console debug output on ttyS0 for the same reason.

To be more precise , i put two photos of my board.
My board has 3xUART appearently.It is imposible but according to pictures i putted, me or someone made a mistake. The first UART is placed in UEXT module(uart1). Second uart is placed next to the UEXT module(according to picture). And UART 0 is placed next to the "HOME" button.

It is quite clear that

UART0 uses PB19&PB20 which is not valid pin assigmnent. By the way this script.bin is taken from A13 Debian  + xfce flashable image(R9)

UART1 connected to PG03 and PG04 (pin 115 pin 116). According to datasheet , PIN 11(5-6) is on UEXT module.

1) Which UART1 represents the real UART1? Why there placed second UART1?
2) How can i suppress console debug output on ttyS0?
"I disabled uart_debug on script.bin" does suppress console debug output on ttyS0?
2) What is the CMOS TTL Level corresponding UART?

Looks like you have the same as me: 2 uarts.  I explained before and it is the same.

I cannot see why you THINK you have 3 but seems to me you don't.

One way I found consists of disabling virtual terminal in /dev/ttyS0 in order to release uart1 (I do not know enable UART0) and to use virtual terminals in /dev/tty[1-6].

Enable /dev/tty[1-6] and disable /dev/ttyS0 in /etc/inittab

1:2345:respawn:/sbin/getty 38400 tty1
2:23:respawn:/sbin/getty 38400 tty2
3:23:respawn:/sbin/getty 38400 tty3
4:23:respawn:/sbin/getty 38400 tty4
5:23:respawn:/sbin/getty 38400 tty5

Now load fbcon.ko and lcd.ko if not already loaded:
# modprobe fbcon

From here you can connect a VGA monitor in and logon.

You can now connect a gps in UEXT(UART1)...

How can i disable /dev/ttyS0 in jeff's verion r15 ubuntu?
I could not find the init file

Even i am facing the same problem as you have.
I have R18 image of jwischka.
Were you able to use UART as serial port.
I want to connect RS232 connection to UART port.
But even i am also not getting the /etc/inttab file or the other ways to change ttyS0 from debug mode.
If you know then please reply how should i use it.

But there is other way, enable console via USB if you have not VGA monitor and disable /dev/ttyS0
