Recently I've had to bury a harddisk as it has crashed irrecoverably. I suspect that the cause was that the power supply for the complete system (OlinuXino + HD) was not sufficient and too many disk errors have culminated in fatal disk failure.
Googling for power supplies I stubled into the Meanwell RS-15-5 power supplies. Depending on where you buy them (even at non-China online shops) they have reasonable prices(https://www.reichelt.de/schakelvoeding-15w-3a-5v-snt-rs-15-5-p137080.html?&trstct=pos_0&nbc=1).
Is there anyone who knows these power supplies and what is the experience.
Pitty about the hard disk! These supplies are alright, I've heard good things from customers about this brand. When considering the connector make sure to check on the power jack specs of Olimex boards here:
