1. Can you compare with this video and tell me what goes different at your side: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-MsywWtN79c ?

2. Can you take a few pictures of your hardware setup? Since you can't upload pictures to the forum directly, please upload them to free hosting web-site and share the link here.

3. What is your power supply?

Hi,
I used to this video manual as referential, but i have big problem with botting and first configurating RF5053F. My problem is in never ending booting loop. When I connected USB-SERIAL cable by OLIMEX, my booting sequence is never ending, and i cannot see root login. My hardware configuration is standart by OLIMEX RF5350F - EVB. I used to for supply my usb-jack supply cable and proffesional USB hub with 5V/2A. The central pin of my supply cable is positive.

I don't understand this part. Can you clarify please? Are you using the power jack of the board to power it?

The behavior might be caused by improper power supply. The board reaches a part where it requires more power and the power supply can't provide it and the voltage drops, so the board reboots.

No, it doesn't need to be purchased from us. Your power source should be alright unless it is under-performing (if manufacturer labelled it wrong or if it malfunctioned).

1. Can you make a log from what you see in the terminal (maybe your terminal can record directly into text file) and show me? Maybe we can spot the error in boot that makes it repeat? If log is too big upload it somewhere and give us link here.

2. Maybe also make a video that shows the hardware setup and the problem and share the link here. You can upload it to youtube or other free hosting web-site.

3. Can you measure with voltage meter or oscilloscope under the power jack and see if it maintains 5V at least during the whole boot?

It is not normal behavior just have to see if it is not some simple setup problem.

For some reason I can't view the log and neither download from this link. Can you upload to some other location, maybe even paste the log in something like https://justpaste.it/

Yes. This is mine for reference, with a brand new board from the shop: https://justpaste.it/4khl7

My advice is to re-write the OpenWRT image. Maybe it got corrupted, instructions and links to files might be found here:

Can I use original programmer by OLIMEX?

First try the upgrade procedure that doesn't need to use a programmer. It can be done via u-boot as explained in chapter "Upload prebuilt images using uboot" and subsequent chapters "Upload prebuilt OpenWRT using uboot", "Upload prebuilt uboot".

If the problem remains please contact me over the support e-mail: support@olimex.com
