Title: Sleep current S2-DevKit-Lipo-USB vs. S2-DevKit-Lipo
Post by: timokett81 on September 17, 2022, 12:52:11 PM
I have few ESP32-S2-DevKit-Lipo-USB boards and they have really good low power performance. Olimex has also ESP32-S2-DevKit-Lipo that has the "traditional" USB interface with CH340T.
I am considering buying more of either one but I would like to know if there is any difference in deep sleep currencies? The Devkit-Lipo-USB page mentions 20 uA but in Devkit-Lipo page there is no such mention.
I can manage with the Devkit-Lipo-USB model but the traditional serial interface is bit easier to use with Espressif tools.

Looking at the schematic it should be similar current consumption. The board was designed with low power operation in mind.
