Title: A20 DDR3L version?
Post by: PaddleStroke on January 22, 2019, 08:01:44 AM
Hi there,
Just a small question : why is A20 olinuxino do not use DDR3L ? Drom what I read it's compatible with A20 and has lower power consumption, so it sounds like it's better?

As I use on battery project I would be interested in DDR3L version.

Also any plan for 2GB ram version? Can 8Gb chips used with A20? I read you have attempted on H3 micro prototype on the blog but could not find reference for A20.

Thanks

Any hints? :)

Also what about NAND storage? Is 8GB choosen to keep price low or is it the maximum supported by A20?
Could we mod/hand solder a bigger flash chip like 128GB or something like this?
