Title: Linux A20 - USB Audio Dropouts on olimex Buster Armbian Image
Post by: winfried on February 23, 2020, 11:31:27 PM
Trying to build a audio streaming box with a T2...

Trying to play a continuous sinus during recording gives me drop outs, quite regular and even increasing Buffer size (using puredata) and alsa or jackd it didnt change.
(on an a64 it is working fine). Adjusting Audio limits.conf etc... nothing helped.

questions about how to tweak the USB ?
- where can I find logs for USB for error in the usb-bus ?
- how rearrange the IRQs, any hint on a documentation
  is also welcome.

Used different USB-Audio Devices for Microphones with Phantom-power, measured between 200mA and 350mA increase of power-supply.

PS.: Search a lot, but didn't find anything for new kernels 4.19.+

What board are you using exactly? What image exactly did you test with? Where can I download it from?
