Hey guys!

I got a external powered hub. After i connected the hub to my A20, and turn on the adapter the light disappeared from the hub. Now my usb-ports doesnt work.

Dmesg give me some sort of error file -71. I'm posting the message later !

is it possible that the port got to much power and got burned from the current?
I got this from my syslog:

And my dmesg give me this, then i grep for usb:

[    0.385623] usbcore: registered new interface driver hub
[    0.389800] usbcore: registered new device driver usb

[    2.791662] usbhid: USB HID core driver
[   10.081820] usbcore: registered new interface driver rtl8192cu

The raspberry people does know about the hub is backfeeding the current, but the adapter only gives 3.7 V and 335 mA. Is that enough to destroy the USB-port?

Thanks!

According to SY6280 spec used to supply 5V power to all of olinuxino USB ports:

"...The SY6280 is a current limited P-channel MOSFET
power switch designed for high-side load-switching
applications. There is no parasitic body diode between
drain and source of the MOSFET, so the SY6280
prevents current flow from out to input when out being
externally forced to a higher voltage than vin when
chip is disabled."

That implies that you should not worry about the externally powered hub unless you've exceeded the Vmax=6V
