Title: Touchscreen
Post by: empedokles on September 19, 2013, 03:16:38 PM
Are the 4.3 and 7.0 touchscreens working under linux?
Do they have two parts (screen and touchpanel) or is it one entity?
Same resolution?
What are the dimensions of the 4.3?
Is there a housing?

Hey emedokles,

No touchscreen support in the official Debian image of the A10s at the moment. Such support is not very hard to be added. Consider that TS support is available for the A20 and the A13 boards under Debian.

Displays have two parts connected via a small ribbon cable. Our control PCB is attached firmly to the back of the screen.

The resolutions is different - 800x480 for the 7 incher and 480x272 for the 4.3 incher.

The dimensions of the 4.3'' display are 4.2'' x 2.7'' x 0.6'' (h x l x w).

We have no special housing for the displays.

Best regards,
