What information we need to complete your order?
For SINGLE side board:
- Input file for Copper layer (please include in the Gerber name TOP or BOTTOM
as single sided boards can have TOP or BOTTOM copper layer)
- Input file for Solder mask layer
- Input file for Component print layer
- NC drill file(s) for NC XY coordinates and Drill tools sizes.
- README text from this template
For DOUBLE side board:
- Input file for TOP copper layer.
- Input file for BOTTOM copper layer.
- Input file for TOP solder mask layer.
- Input file for BOTTOM solder mask layer.
- Input file for component print layer.
- NC drill file(s) for NC XY coordinates and Drill tools sizes. Note that
the drill sizes should be the tool sizes used for drilling i.e. after plating
your finished holes will be decreased with 0.1 mm
- README text from this template
IMPORTANT:
All manufacturing info should be placed in the README.TXT file, as
all info outside README.TXT file is IGNORED i.e. what you write in your e-mail
body or what you write on your Gerber layers outside your PCB area is going
to be deleted and not used nor archived for future use.
Good name conversion practice is to name your gerbers like this: MYPCB-REV-XXX-DATE-YYY-TOP.gbr,
MYPCB-REV-XXX-DATE-YYY-BOTTOM.gbr, MYPCB-REV-XXX-DATE-YYY-topmask.gbr, MYPCB-REV-XXX-DATE-YYY-bottommask.gbr,
MYPCB-REV-XXX-DATE-YYY-topsilk.gbr, MYPCB-REV-XXX-DATE-YYY-botsilk.gbr, MYPCB-REV-XXX-DATE-YYY-drill.drl,
MYPCB-REV-XXX-DATE-YYY-tools.txt if you get used to this you will never wonder
which board revision you sent for manufacturing.
FILE FORMATS we accept:
CAD Board files:
- Eagle BRD file from version 3.55 or later, PLEASE
DON'T SEND BRD FILES MADE WITH ILLEGAL EAGLE LICENSEE TO US,
we can't open nor process such files and we will report your name and company
info to Cadsoft if we receive such Eagle files from you. If you found this
BRD file on the internet there is very simple way to check if it is made with
legal licensee, go to Cadsoft web and download evaluation Eagle version, install
and run it as freeware, then try to open the BRD, if it gives you "Load
Error 29x" and Eagle refuse to open the BRD file it this means that this
BRD file is made with illegal licensee and we can't manufacture this board.
- IMPORTANT! When you send Eagle .BRD files for processing please note
that we process only with EAGLE's DEFAULT post-processor setings: TOP: Layers
1, 17, 18; BOTTOM: Layers 16, 17, 18; SILK: Layers 20, 21, 25; TOPMASK: Layer
29; BOTTOM MASK: Layer 30 If you put information on other layers please post-process
the BRD file by yourself and switch ON the layers you are using, then send
us the Gerbers and NC drills for manufacturing.
- IMPORTANT! Please before sending Eagle files for manufacturing use
these DRU files to check your design: for 8
mils (15 working days turnaround) and 10
mils (3-5 working days turnaround). Please don't send BRD files
which show errors when run the DRU scripts, there are not such thing as "not
important error" and if your boards have errors when you run the DRU
this means we can't manufacture them, so please don't send such board with
request for production.

GERBERS for Copper, Soldermask and Component print layers:
- RS274-X - also know as EXTENDED Gerber format, with embedded apreture info,
any aperture sizes above 8 mils is acceptable
NC drill files:
- EXCELLON or S&M drill format, must have XY NC drill coordinates info
and Tool assignments info
OUR TECHNOLOGY LIMITATIONS:
- Our minimum track width/space is 0.203 mm (8 mils).
- The (pad/via - drill hole) clearence must be minimum 0.406 mm (16 mils)
i.e. the resulting annual copper ring around the drilled hole to be 0.203
mm (8 mils), example: if 0.9 mm drill hole size is used it MUST have pad/via
diameter = min. 1.306 mm
- Our minimum drill size is 0.6 mm (24 mils). we can't manufacture boards
with smaller drill hole size.
- Our maximum drill size is 5.0 mm (197 mils) we can't drill large than 5.0
mm drill hole on your board, if your board have > 5.0 mm drill it will
be replaced with 5.0 mm drill
- Our standard drill tool rack is: 0.7 mm (0.028"), 0.9 mm (0.035"), 1.0 mm
(0.039"), 1.1 mm (0.043"), 1.3 mm (0.051"), 1.5 mm (0.059"), 2.1 mm (0.083"),
3.3 mm (0.13").
If you are using non-standard drill sizes you will be charged additionally
see our PRICE web page .
- We are using METRIC drill sizes with step of 0.1 mm and all drill sizes
are to be rounded to the nearest metric drill size. For instance if you are
using 27 mils, 28 mils and 29 mils drill sizes they all will be rounded to
0.7 mm. To convert from IMPERIAL to METRIC you should divide your IMPERIAL
drill size to 39.37 i.e. 130 mils / 39.37 = 3.3 mm and vice versa 1.0 mm =
39.37 mils after rounding = 39 mils. If this rounding is not taken into
consideration you can easily make DRC violations - for instance
you can use 34 mils drill with 50 mils pad/via which should pass the annular
ring copper check as the pad-drill is 16 mils, but 34 mils drill = 0.86 mm
will be rounded to 0.9 mm and the 1.27 mm pad/via will fail on the DRC check.
- Our drill hole limit is 500 holes for SSS,DSS and 2000 holes for SSQ,DSQ
panels. If you exceed the maximum hole limit you will be charged additionally
see our PRICE web page.
- Each layer MUST have text inside or outside PCB area to prevent board production
with mirrored layers. i.e. the text on bottom should be mirrored if you look
on the board from top.
- Lines under 0,254 mm (10 mils) on component print layer may not be visible.
We can fix the phototools form the component print layer lines to 0,254 mm
(10 mils) for additional charge see our PRICE
web page
