PIC-USB-ADAPTER was specially designed for PIC-MCP when the USB version was still not available. Now we already have PIC-MCP-USB but this device is still useful when you need to add RS232 and Power supply 2-in-1 device for your laptops which have no RS232 ports. You can use the RS232 to interface to your development boards and in same time to provide power supply for them.
